I am stuck not being able to go back further than 28th May 1768 with the marriage of
John Bunnett to Rachel Burlingham
It states in the church records that John was from Horstead
NB the one one "T" Bunnet
When they had children they have all been recorded with two "T's"
Rachel is recorded as been buried in Holt 1814 age 84 with a baptism in 1734 which should be 1830 ?
Need to verify this !
and note Robert who is also a witness to her marriage could be father or Brother as both around
A John Bunnett died in 1829 age 83 buried in Holt
which ties up with a John Bunnet NB only one "T" as in marriage records
to may be John born 1715-1790 and Anne Starling from Saxthorpe in 1745/6 Saxthorpe. The fly in the ointment is the the marriage record says John of Horstead Parish
which is 20 miles from Holt could have been working\living there ? But Saxthorpe
and Sister village Corpusty is only
About 6 miles south of Holt
John Bunnett born 1715-1790 is the son of Luke Bunnet 1690-1764 and Philippa Stratton
