I have been trying to get back further but cannot prove any links.
With a name like “Bunnett” which is so easy to misspell.
It is thought that the “Bunnett’s” come from either France or the Low countries
And we may well have been Huguenots. Any information on this would be great.
We would have probably settled in the county of Norfolk as in the 1700’s it was a
Very Prosperous region, however in the 1820 – onwards some of the “Holt” Bunnett’s moved
Away as the advent of the industrial revolution, which needed coal, and there is none
In East
Anglia people would have mainly headed north.
How do you pronounce the name Bunnett?
